“Better to light a candle for one lost dog than to curse the darkness of man’s indifference. Saving just one dog won’t change the world, but it surely will change the world for that one dog.” – Richard Clyde Call
All of these stories are about real dogs and real people, told in their own words. As you read them, the depth and breadth of the love that is shared will shine through, and make your own heart sing. While all these Rescue Airedales have brought so much pleasure to their adopting families, the other side of that coin is that each of these Airedales has the most wonderful ‘Furever Home’ they could ever wish for.
Adoption of a Rescue Airedale is a wonderful privilege and honour, but also comes with incredible responsibility. Airedale Terriers are not your average dog and therefore require an experienced and aware owner. The dogs we place often have other psychological issues to manage, which may be as result of the environment(s) they have left behind and will often need training and attention to help them settle well into their new home. All this takes lots of time and effort, so we choose ‘furever homes’ very carefully. If this is something you think you may be interested in, then feel free to complete our Airenet Adoption Form. It can be completed electronically and then emailed to Sue Forrester, who will be in touch for a further discussion.
